Dehydrated skin
Dehydrated skin is a common skin problem caused by water loss in the skin, also known as transepidermal water loss (TEWL). The skin barrier is responsible for regulating hydration and maintaining moisture (water content). Dryness is usually caused by the wrong choice of detergent or excessive cleaning.
There are several factors that contribute to dehydrated skin, such as:
The climate, especially cold, dry air Hot bath or shower Excessive alcohol and caffeine consumption Not drinking enough water Using products with alcohol and/or strong exfoliating ingredients
SKIN offers various treatments aimed at moisturizing the skin and improving the moisture balance. Below are some examples:
- Chemical peels, which help the skin absorb more water
- Microneedling, controlled damage to allow the skin to repair its own barrier.
- Plasma Facial, a treatment aimed at moisturizing the skin and improving skin elasticity CryoFacial, a treatment that refreshes and hydrates the skin through cold air
- Aquapeel, a treatment aimed at moisturizing and improving skin elasticity through a combination of water and oxygen.
