What can you expect?
First treatment
A consultation is required for the first treatment so we can map out your concerns, goals and expectations. We discuss medical history, such as allergies, medication use and other factors that may affect your concerns or the treatment outcomes. And we determine whether the treatment is suitable for you.
Before treatment
Before the treatment, there are specific instructions to prepare you for the treatment, such as avoiding certain activities or using certain products. We will send you these instructions by email before the treatment, to ensure that the treatment is as effective as possible.
During the treatment
The skin and underlying fat tissue is cooled by a special machine to a temperature that kills the fat cells. The treatment is generally well tolerated and most people experience no significant discomfort. Some people may feel a sensation of cold or pressure during treatment, but this is usually not painful.
Post-treatment
All normal activities can be resumed, although some people may experience mild side effects such as redness, swelling or numbness in the treated area. These side effects are usually temporary and disappear within a few days.
Aftercare advice
For the best results, the treatment is combined with lifestyle changes; Drink at least two liters of water a day and get enough exercise to promote drainage. We recommend 5 to 10 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart. Although results vary from person to person, it often takes a few treatments to see the desired results.
After 2 weeks
The lymphatic system needs an average of 14 days to go through the entire cycle. The results improve in this period. Two weeks after the previous treatment, you can undergo another treatment.
Course completion
Once your initial course of treatments is complete, the desired result should be achieved. After a course of 5, you can opt for a further package of 5 to improve results.
