Step 2: In-Clinic Treatment
On the day of your treatment, your skin will be cleansed and prepped. The treatment follows several key phases:
1️⃣ Preparation – The skin is thoroughly cleansed, and sensitive areas are protected with a specialized cream.
2️⃣ Peeling Application – The Dermamelan® Intimate Peeling is applied and left on the skin for 7 minutes to penetrate and break down hyperpigmentation.
3️⃣ Neutralization – The peel is neutralized using a specialized spray to calm the skin.
4️⃣ Mask Application – A Dermamelan® Intimate Mask is applied and covered with a protective film. The mask remains on for 2 hours, during which you can go home.
Step 3: Essential Home Care
After the in-clinic treatment, the most critical phase begins: home care. This step ensures long-term and effective results:
✔ 48 hours after treatment – Start applying Dermamelan® Intimate Gel daily, following your specialist’s instructions.
✔ These products help fade pigmentation, hydrate, and support skin recovery.
✔ Consistent use of moisturizing and protective products contributes to a smoother and healthier skin texture.
Step 4: Follow-Up & Monitoring

After 4 years of struggling with skin issues, i was referred by a friend to Dr Zabaleta and she was adamant that he had made her skin “ridiculously beautiful”! After just 2 treatments I saw some significant improvement. Dr Armando customizes the treatment to the skin type and even considers the impact and reaction of well known products on my tanned, ultra sensitive skin which required a much more delicate approach and with basic products. Previously, I’ve had spent €€€€ on products and treatments over the last 4 years - that were actually causing more damage to my skin, until I discovered Dr Zabaleta and his team. In my intake, he considered medical & lifestyle topics which also helped to spotlight- the true underlying cause of the skin issue. I didn’t feel oversold as the products reccomended are easily accessible and don’t cost a fortunate and he never imposes any of it! During the peeling, you may experience a mild burning or tingling sensation, which is completely normal and subsides within minutes. After the treatment, the skin may feel sensitive, slightly red, or mildly irritated, but this will gradually diminish.
Your skin may feel sensitive and slightly red for the first few days. Mild flaking or peeling can occur, but this is part of the renewal process. Most clients see noticeable improvement within a few weeks, with full results after a few months.
